"Mobile" field is one of the standard fields that MDirector includes by default in all accounts to be able to import contacts to the lists and segment them. The mobile numbers of your contacts must be imported complete, that is to say, with the country prefix included. In case they do not have a prefix, MDirector will add the prefix associated to the country with which the account was created.
Remember that you can import Excel or Comma Separated Text (csv) files. In case it is Excel, the prefix must be added with an apostrophe in front so that Excel takes it as text and not as a sum, for example:
In addition, if uploaded in Excel format, the field must be in "number" format and with no decimal places.
When importing the example file into MDirector:
The errors indicated by this import:
- Contact C0001 is an invalid email because it has been previously unsubscribed.
- The C0004 contact has a valid format "The value ""6788451589"" for MOVIL is valid". As it is a Spanish account, MDirector checks if it is a valid number by adding "+34", however it is a longer number than usual for Spanish mobiles.
- The rest of the emails are not valid either because in the Spanish format, no phone number starts with "8".
Contacts that are uploaded without a prefix will have the country prefix of the account added to them.
