Enabling / Disabling Campaing Features

Alejandra Vasquez Mendez

In step 3 of creating your email marketing mailout – the “Design” section – you’ll find various features that you can activate or disable. We explain how each of them works below:

Activating the ‘This is an Ad’ function enables the web display of a newsletter and is recommended due to the restrictions and security filters some clients have that prevent the downloading of newsletter content. This function will allow your contact to view the content in a browser.

Activating the Add spam header function will add an automatic header that allows contacts to indicate whether they consider the email as spam or that they’re interested in receiving it. This saves them from doing so directly in the email client, which would affect the deliverability of the campaign.

Activating Google Analytics allows the tool to monitor your mailout traffic.

Clicking Customise Fields lets you add new tags to your URLs. When users click on one of your custom links, the unique metrics will be sent to your Google Analytics (https://mdtr.io/sioF3) account, helping you identify the URLs most effective at driving users to your content.

Enabling reCaptcha validation on links will allow Google’s reCaptcha (https://mdtr.io/rbPfk) service to prevent bots, crawlers and automated tools from accessing the content of your links.
