MDirector lists help make it easier to segment your databases. You can create up to 500 different lists in the contact section of your MDirector account.
MDirector generates a "General" contact list by default, which features on all sub-accounts and cannot be deleted. In addition, you can create different lists to manage contacts.
In the upper right part of the "Contacts" section, you’ll find the "Create a new List" button. You just need to name your list (we recommend a name without spaces or special characters) and click "Save":
Once the list is created, a list ID will be added, which you will find in the lower right-hand part of the screen, as well as its date of creation:
Unlike the "General List”, these user-created lists can be modified and deleted.
Once you have the list you can proceed to import contacts (you can see it in the following article: https://mdtr.io/XUGQl), once you have uploaded the contacts, you can:
- Create "New Segments" or "Groups of Segments”, as indicated in the article create segments: https://mdtr.io/ymW8q.
- You can also export the list and download a CSV file with the data you’ve included:
- Copy contacts to another list
- Move contacts to another list
- Remove selected contacts from the list
*By checking the "Select all" box, you select all the contacts that are displayed, from 5 to 100 contacts:
