Data Integration

Landing Optimizer offers four options for collecting the data entered by subscribers in the page forms. Depending on the system or application where you want to centralize your data, you can use one or more of these services: Email, MDirector, Web Service, and Zapier.

By default, all the form fields will be sent with these services, along with a series of fields (called system fields) that Landing Optimizer always stores for all records:

  • IP Address
  • Browser
  • Referrer
  • Date/Time
  • URL
  • Confirmation URL
  • Variant Name
  • Variant ID
  • Visit ID
  • Page ID

To view these options, go to the corresponding Landing Page, access the menu at the top right, click the actions button (the one with three dots), and select "Data Integration".

 

Below you can see the four options to integrate the data:

- Email: you can send the leads info by email.

- MDirector: if you have the Email & SMS Marketing service, you can send the leads information to any subaccount list that you want.

- Web service: you can send the data to any web service that you want.

- Zapier: is a program for connecting tools or systems without the need for programming knowledge.

 

 

Integration via Email

If you want to send the information via email, click on "Email" and fill out the required information:

- Recipients: add the email addresses where the data will be sent, separated by commas.

- Subject: Write the subject of the email.

 

Each record collected generates an e-mail containing the information of the data.

 

 

Integration with MDirector

If you choose this option the data filled in the form will be saved in a list that you choose within your MDirector account. Remember that you must have the Email and SMS Marketing service active.

To do so, click on "MDirector" and fill in the required information:

- Subaccount: Choose the sub-account where the list to which the data will be added is located.

- List: Choose the list to which the data will be added.

- Double Opt-in: If we activate this field we will send an email to the user who has filled in the form to confirm that he/she wants us to save his/her data in our database. If they confirm, they will be added to the list, if not, they will not.

- Save leads even if they have been previously unsubscribed: Contacts that have generated unsubscribes will enter the list again if we select this section. As long as they have not been hardbounced.

- Send welcome email: Once the contact enters our list, they will receive an automatic welcome email to our newsletter. This Welcome Mail has to be configured in the Email and SMS Marketing service under the "Preferences --> Automated Sendings" section.

- Send welcome email: Once the contact enters our list, an automatic welcome email will be sent to our newsletter. This email cannot be personalized or edited, it is an identical email for all contacts.

- Field association: associate the names of the existing fields in your list with the names of the fields you entered in your form (for example: Name --> Name).

By activating the "Send welcome email" checkbox, a Welcome Mail will be sent to each registered email. This Welcome Mail has to be configured in the Email and SMS Marketing service in the section 

"Preferences --> Automatic emails".

Scrolling on this same screen, before clicking on "Save" we find the field association:

 

Integration with web service

 This option allows you to send the data that has been collected in the form to a web service that is different from MDirector. To do this, click on "web service" and fill out the required  info:

- URL: this is the web service URL to use for data integration.

- Fields association: Associates the parameters of the web service destination with the names of the fields of your form (for example: Name --> Name)

 

 

Zapier Integration

Zapier is a service that allows you to automate many tasks and integrate web applications without spending hours of programming and integration.

It’s a web service through which you can integrate or connect two applications together to perform tasks based on an event that you indicate. It has a free plan, which can be converted to a more advanced one, depending on the number of integrations you want to build, the number of tasks, and how often you want them to run.
