As explained in this article: https://mdtr.io/OIQW9, MDirector is a multifunctional platform for the complete management of your email and SMS campaigns, and the tools we provide are organized into modules or services that can be accessed from the side menu, always visible on the left side of the screen.
The most important and in-demand service we offer is Email/SMS Marketing. From this platform, you can manage your mass email and SMS campaigns, covering both contact management and the design and storage of the creatives you wish to send. Additionally, you will have access to detailed statistics and comprehensive reports on the sent campaigns.
How to access the service
To access it, go to the side menu, located on the left side of your screen, ensuring it is expanded, and click on the title or the arrow to its right. This will reveal the sections of the module: Dashboard, Campaigns, Contact lists, My templates, My contents, and Preferences. To enter the module, you will need to navigate to one of these sections by clicking on the name of the section you want to access.
Creating a campaign
In all sections of the module, you will always find the yellow “Create campaign” button in the top right corner. When you click it, four options will appear: "Create email," "Create SMS," "Create A/B test," and "Create SMS email." Regardless of which option you choose, you will initiate a flow separate from the rest of the module sections.
Dashboard
The Email/SMS Marketing service dashboard provides an overview of the send statistics in the form of graphs, which can also be viewed individually—send by send and campaign by campaign—in the "Campaigns" section. Additionally, it has a second function: accessing the account activity logs, meaning you can see what actions each user has taken and when.
Campaigns
From this section, we can check the statistics of all completed or partially completed campaigns and edit those that are in draft status.
Contacts
In this section, you can manage your contact lists: create new lists, import new contacts, delete old ones, segment them, or edit their details, among other functions. You will also find a second side menu, which corresponds to the list of lists.
My Templates
In MDirector, we can store the email creatives we have designed. These are saved in this section, whether we create and save them during the sending process or directly here. However, it is important to note that this section is not available to users on Free plans. Even though this section is unavailable to them, these users, as well as all others, can still access their templates from Step 2 of the campaign creation process.
Settings
This section allows us to manage multiple settings related to our Email and SMS Marketing service. Here you will find, divided into tabs:
- Sender and reply-to email configuration
- Creation and modification of custom contact fields
- Management of unsubscribes and bounces
- Throttling filters to control the frequency of sends to the same contact
- Management of automated sends based on subscription, unsubscription, purchase, and date
- The necessary information for setting up the contacts API
- Configuration of social media links in templates
