In MDirector's Marketing Automation service, it is possible to remove tags previously assigned to a contact—whether they were added by a flow (as explained in this article: https://mdtr.io/4QonG) or manually from outside this service. This is useful when, due to a new action by the user or any other reason, the tag is no longer relevant.
For example, if a contact was assigned a tag indicating that they had not yet received a specific email, and they eventually do receive it, that tag can be automatically removed.
To configure a node in MDirector Automation that removes one or more tags from a contact, first click the '+' icon to add a new step within the flow editor. Then, select the 'Remove tag(s) from the contact' option, found under the 'Actions' category.
Next, select the tag(s) you want to remove and click the yellow 'Add' button.
You’ll see that the step has been added to the flow editor. From now on, every time a contact reaches that node, the tag or tags you configured will be removed from their profile.
