When setting up a Marketing Automation flow, it’s common to assign tags to contacts based on their activity or characteristics. These tags allow you to segment them and define the paths they will follow within this flow or in others across the account.
If you want to add a step that assigns tag(s) to contacts reaching a specific node—after having gone through previous ones—the first thing you need to do is click the “+” button and select the 'Add tag(s) to contact' option under the 'Actions' category.
In the next window, you will be asked to select one or more tags from those already created in the account. You can also create new tags by typing them directly and separating them with a comma. Once this is done, simply click the yellow 'Add' button.
This way, the step will be integrated into the flow, and each time a contact reaches that node, the configured tag(s) will be automatically assigned.
